Introduction: The common causes of thyrotoxicosis are GravesÂ’ disease, toxic multinodular goitre and toxic adenoma which account for >90% of cases of this condition. Iodine-induced thyrotoxicosis (Jod-Basedow syndrome) is infrequently considered as a cause of thyrotoxicosis.
